Cynthia Fort

Veterinary Assistant

Cynthia H. Fort-Lewis is our part time staff member doing anything from reception to technician work.  She has been with us since she was rehired in 2005 after completing a few years of college. She has a farm in Windsor with her chickens and sheep and two cats; Fat Cat & Heathen. She also teaches pilates and spin at the local YMCA.  She loves spending time with her son Alton and their many animals.

Angela Farrin
Office Manager

Angela Farrin has been with the practice since 1988. When she started here there were only Dr. Welch, a technician and Angela. Angela started out as the receptionist and as she assumed more duties and as the practice grew there was a need for an office manager, which she took on. Angela lives in Walpole with her husband Bruce, daughter Jordan and son Braxton. They have 2 cats, Gloria Pixie & Moxie May, 3 ponies named Manny, Opie and Penuche, 2 goats and many chickens. Angela enjoys reading, horseback riding and spending time with her kids at their activities. She supports United States Pony Club, Clary Lake Pony Club, 4H, South Bristol Spindrifters jump rope demonstration team and Wiscasset Community Center Unsinkables swim team.

Wanda Dunton
Receptionist

Wanda Dunton is in charge of the reception area, making sure that the office is running smoothly. Wanda is in charge of such things as scheduling, invoicing, record keeping, quality control and many other office duties too numerous to list. She has been with the practice since September of 1998. Wanda lives in Jefferson with her husband Tim. Wanda has Kara, a feline adoptees from the Damariscotta Vet Clinic.

Katy Spicer
Licensed Veterinary Technician

Katy is our licensed technician. She cares for the animals in the hospital, assists Dr. Welch in surgery, runs lab work, takes radiographs, sees appointments and much more. Katy enjoys spending time with her family and pets. She 4 dogs, Jake, Maverick, Nugget & Little Man as well as 3 cats, Camo, Sky & Stella (all adopted from Damariscotta Vet Clinic), chickens and ducks!

Amanda Parise
Veterinary Assistant

Our newest member, Amanda, assists Dr. Welch and Katy with their day-to-day routine. Amanda helps in surgery, the lab, appointments, care of the animals and more. She enjoys spending time with her 4 cats, Sydney, Frank, Ms. Bidit & Tim (adopted from our clinic), a bird (Bridgie) and her significant other, Robbie.
